Usna Keating is a wildlife biologist. He has worked both in Ireland and overseas. He has undertaken work on numerous projects aimed at conserving wild species, including birds, fish, mammals and reptiles. He is particularly passionate about birds and hopes to share his knowledge with others. Usna will demonstrate how to hear and see birds. We will gain valuable insight into how we can help them and other wildlife in our local community.
Usna will give a colourful engaging power point presentation . There will be plenty of time for discussion and if the weather allows, Usna will lead a bird watch walk in Banteer park.
On a recent visit to Banteer Usna heard a Buzzard . Yes we have at least one buzzard in the Banteer area.!
Usna’s talk is free. Come, learn and be inspired by Usna’s passion for birds and all things environmental.
