“No one saves us but ourselves” The Buddha
On his enlightenment at the age of thirty-five in Bodhgaya, the Buddha said
“Profound peace, natural simplicity, uncompounded luminosity, I have found a nectar-like Dharma.”*
*Dharma means truth
When Buddha lay dying in a forest grove in Kushinagara, surrounded by five hundred of his disciples, he said to them with his last breath: “It is in the nature of all things that take form to dissolve again. Strive with your whole being to attain perfection.”

7.30pm – 8.30pm Meditation
8.30pm Offering of food (not meat), drink (non alcoholic ), flowers , incense , perfume, (eg scented candle, aromatherapy oil,) etc – things that please our senses.
8.45pm Tea and enjoy the feast!
Everyone is welcome, No charge for the Celebration, Do bring something to offer – food or non-alcoholic drink, flowers, candle etc – anything pleasing to the senses!
