In meditation there are many approaches we can use to working with Emotion. First, through observing and our mind in an open, allowing way, we get to know our thoughts and emotions. By observing we can see clearly that thought/ emotion isn’t solid. We don’t have to be scared of them or enamoured by them and we definitely don’t have to believe them to be true! We have no freedom when we slavishly follow our thoughts and emotion , believing it all to be true. We get all worked up and stressed. In this way we loose our peace of mind, our equilibrium. When we deeply know this in every cell of our body we can experience true peace of mind.
