Tonglen (sending and taking) is the essential practice of the Eight Verses of Mind Training. This is  the text that Rinpoche taught a few weeks ago. On Sunday, Rinpoche will teach the actual practice of Tonglen and then lead a practice session.

“In short whether directly or indirectly
May I offer all benefits and joy to my mothers.
When my mothers are harmed or suffer,
May I secretly take these harms upon myself”
(Verse 7 of the Eight Verses of Mind Training by Geshe Langri Thangpa.)
.
After this, Rinpoche will answer any questions you may have on the Eight Verses of Mind Training or any other Dharma topic. You are welcome to send your questions to Orla at palpungirelandinfo@gmail.com.
(Please don’t send your question to this email address as it’s for general correspondence and your question may get lost.) You may put your question in the chat box during the live session and Rinpoche will answer it, if time allows.

Everyone is welcome to attend this teaching. It is not a requirement to have attended Rinpoche’s teaching on the Eight Verses
