Weekly Meditation Courses – Wednesday Night

New 6 week course  Banteer

“  Transforming Thoughts  Emotions and changing Habits through Meditation”  

 Wednesday’s – 7pm -9.30pm  –  November 7th , 14th , 21, 28, December 5th, 12th

and concluding with a  full day  of practice on Saturday  15th 10am- 5pm

In meditation there are many approaches we can use to working with Emotion. First, through observing  our mind in an open, allowing way, we get to know our  thoughts and emotions. By observing we   can see clearly that thought/ emotion isn’t solid.  We don’t have to be scared of them or enamored by them and we definitely don’t have to believe them to be true!  We have no freedom when we slavishly  follow our thought and emotion creating story-lines , believing it all to be true.   This results in  getting worked up and stressed.  In this way we lose our peace of mind, our equilibrium. When we deeply know this in every cell of our body we can experience true peace of mind.



 Venue:            Palpung Banteer Buddhist Centre 

 Day:               Wednesday evenings 7pm- 9.30pm November 7th – December 15th (Day of practice).
